LP Recreation:
For our LP recreation project, we started by selecting an existing album that inspired us—studying its design, colors, and visual language. Then, we reimagined it with our own concept, transforming the original idea into something personal and unique while keeping the spirit of the album intact.
Research:
The album I chose was “Loveaholic” by Ruth Lorenzo. I was really drawn to the colors and aesthetic of the album.
I was inspired by the bold use of red and blue tones on the original album cover. For my recreation, I decided to bring that color contrast into a new environment by shooting inside a car instead of a studio. The car’s blue exterior provided a cool setting, while I used the red brake lights from another car to recreate the red lighting seen in the original.
