Atlanta Airport Interface:
This UX/UI project focuses on creating a Flight Information Display System (FIDS) for the Atlanta International Airport, tailored for viewing on an iPhone 14 Pro. This display delivers real-time flight updates to passengers departing or arriving at the airport. The central point of this project is to organize an effective information structure that can be utilized across macro and micro formats.
Research:
Along with other airline apps, I also looked at other companies to find a style and user experience that I enjoyed using.
Hierarchy Sketches:
I first sketched out my design system and found different hierarchies. Then, I used systems that worked well for rough ideations of possible layouts.
Digital Ideations:
Trying out different hierarchy systems, color palettes, and typefaces.
Refinements:
I narrowed it down to one direction and iterated hierarchy and colors.
